In August 2026, the BioARC Consortium will be participating in our first of three annual knowledge exchanges. This year, the Belize Vector and Ecology Center in Orange Walk, Belize will host a 1-week workshop on field work, sample tracking, and molecular genetics-based detection of pathogens. Participants and Instructors will then travel to the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge just outside of Socorro, NM, USA for a 1-week workshop and networking event to learn more about the development of biorepositories as resources for high-quality wildlife tissue samples that can be used in pandemic preparedness.
